Metro
This project aims to create a mobile app for Madrid's underground metro system, specifically designed to encourage sustainable commuting when metro lines are closed or unavailable. The app, built in a sleek dark mode interface for optimal readability and modern design, focuses on promoting eco-friendly travel options in real time to prevent users from resorting to driving.
Moreover, users can discover nearby tourist attractions, restaurants, cafés, and other amenities along their travel route. The app recommends places based on the user's location and sustainable travel preferences, making it a perfect companion for both daily commuting and exploring Madrid.

Wireframes
The wireframes for the App were developed using the Crazy 8 technique. This approach allowed me to explore multiple layouts and features in a short time, ensuring creativity and variety. The final layouts combine the best ideas to deliver an intuitive and user-friendly experience that promotes sustainable travel alternatives when the metro is unavailable.
By combining multiple design ideas, the wireframes strike a balance between providing real-time transportation information and engaging users with additional features like tourist spot recommendations and eco-tracking.
High fidelity prototype
For the final design, dark mode was chosen as the default design to align with modern app trends and the sustainable, eco-conscious focus of the app. The dark theme reduces battery usage on devices with OLED screens and minimizes eye strain, especially for users who check the app in low-light conditions.
